School is a place for learning, meanwhile home is a place for family. We have 8 hours for learning at school, 8 hours for take a rest (sleep), and we just have less than 8 hours for socialization and for our family. How long is it? Is it real 8 hours for family?
Eight hours or 1/3 day is for school, means we lost 1/3 of our life which actually needed for socialization. And based on the fact (and experiences), school is not stopped when the bell rings, it still dominates our life in the form of homeworks! Homework, homework, homework, the main purpose is to make us in the study line. The purpose is good, but how if HW (home works) given is too much and we do not have enough time to study? Because, reality said that HW bring us to copy the answer from certain sources, not to know well about the materials.
Actually, so many students have complain about their homeworks. Their teachers give them too much, and disturb their study (here, HW is different with study). If a student gives his time just for doing his HW, how about his others life? Life must goes on! So, we need a revolution. Are 8 hours not enough to pushes our brain? We have use the most difficult curiculum in the world (KTSP), is it not enough yet?
If I have to choose between study or HW; I will answer it loudly that I prefer to develop my knowledege, not to develop my wasting time. We need to improve ourselves in efficient way. Better, if we remove our education system that HW marks are used in Report Book formula for the last semester, we really do not need it. We as students just need a clear and right way to develop our selves in competency (knowledge), not to copy from the others. It is a students` right to make this one be clear.(gal)
